Victor Ient is a senior coach and founder of Pathfinder Coaching. He has over 30 years experience as a manager working for international companies where training and executive development were one of main priorities. He has delivered training and coaching in the UK, China & the Middle East.

He has a Masters in the Management of Technology awarded by the universities of Sussex and Brighton in 1992. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, Charted Institute of Marketing and the British Computer Society. He has been a director of the Institute of Interim Management.

For the last seven years he has been the managing director of Pathfinder Projects Ltd providing services to companies including Ericsson, Damovo, Barclays Capital and Hertz Cars. He has held management positions in a number of blue chip companies including GTE (now Verizon Communications), ITT (now Alcatel-Lucent) and Ericsson working both in the UK & internationally. His consultancy career has also taken him to Hungary, Austria, Holland, Germany & Ireland as well as to the Middle East & South Africa.

He has managed many projects as well as departments and has come to realise the importance of leadership, personal development & teamwork. In the last decade he has been involved in mentoring & coaching his staff as well as teams associated with his projects for companies such as Vodafone, BBC & Wataniya Telecom (part of Qatar Telecom).
